Emma Doré, CEO of Supporting Families in Mental Illness Auckland, has over 25 years’ experience in the field of mental health. Emma trained and practiced initially as a social worker/manager in the UK in forensic mental health services, and for the past 15 years has managed services in NZ in both the government and non-government sectors.
For several years she has been teaching LEAP throughout New Zealand, and she is LEAP Institute’s representative in New Zealand and in the Asia/Pacific Region.
Ms. Dore works closely with consumers, family caregivers and policy makers/government officials to advocate for family and consumer inclusive practice.
